3 Essential Tools For Your Business

This article is for those who identify as Content Creators and/ or Small to Large Organizations. This is intended to help those of you who are looking to enhance your digital marketing within your company. All resources mentioned in this article are used here at BPerryFilms.

Google Workspace:

To get started with your business I recommend the productivity tool called Google Workspace. When you first register for Google Workspace it will bring you to Google Domains. When you go to the site it allows you to make a customized email that best represents your business and brand. You create your email Ex: User@company.com. Just keep in mind that rates start at $12 per year. You can customize the ending of your email and put .com, .net, .io, .so, and more. It is important to have your business registered beforehand just for legal purposes. You want to have an email that is professional branding because first impressions make a difference when you are connecting with clients, brands, employees, and even close partners with your business.

Once you get accommodated to the platform you will notice your email page and also the different admin features being offered. Depending on what plan you sign up for will determine how much storage you will have allotted to your team and yourself. I recommend signing up for the Standard plan because just for as low as $12 per month you will have 2TB of storage per user. I recommend this plan because it offers you more storage than the 30GB plan. As a person who produces a lot of content and sends files back and forth between clients and brands, I realized it is a strong selling point where I don’t have to stress about not having enough space to hold my photos, videos, presentations, and folders. You don’t have to have that plan for all your employees but do what makes sense for your organization.

Features offered:

Similar to Microsoft Office, Google Workspace offers Docs, Sheets, and Slides. These apps if on Microsoft would be called Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They have the same features but a little bit better with a security feature. When sending files it makes sure it ensures that you are giving permission to send files to outside partners outside of your organization. Next, you can send reports and surveys to clients and your team using Google Forms. What is amazing about the app is that it allows you to get a holistic graph of performances. You can look at the demographics, open responses, multiple questions, selection tools, and more. Google Meets depending on what tier plan you are on will allow you to have more premium features. These features include more participants in the room, meeting recordings, screen share, and more. With Google Voice, you can set up a separate number from your own personal number. This is great because you don’t have to worry about people calling you at random hours of the day and violating your space as everything is separate. Lastly, I tell my clients to sign up for a Google Workspace account because when you set up your YouTube account all your emails will go to your professional account. No more spamming your personal email when you have your professional account. Try Now

Canva:

There is no secret about this tool being on the list of top essential tools for many creatives and business owners. Canva is a powerful weapon for many businesses. You can create Thumbnails and edit still images for your social media post. You can create creative slides for your presentations that stand out with powerful designs and animations. For my business, I have a team of freelancers that work with me and I can add them to my account on Canva Teams. On Canva Teams you can have up to 5 members on an account for a low fee of $149.99 on the yearly plan.

Get access to over 100 Million templates that can help you to create workbooks, e-books, and pdfs for your students and clients. You can divide and share folders with those you need to collaborate with to work on any document that needs extra assistance in real time. With Ai technologies, you can customize your brand colors to make the look of your company look aesthetically formatted. It also knows your writing style and what format text and imaging fits your liking. You can even remove background images, get team reports,  insights, and even get 1TB of storage to save on your account. Need access to customer support that is offered as well 24/7. For those of you who run a not-for-profit business, there are discounts for you as well to get the most out of Canva for the least amount. Metricool:

The last tool that I recommend is Metricool. Let me tell you over the past 2 months of using this platform has made my business grow tremendously. This is for any business owner or those trying to get their digital marketing agency to the next level. With this tool, it has all the major social media platforms all in one place. You can add your Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn accounts and get access to insights on your schedule post-performance. You can also see when people are more engaged with your content at set hours. The way you can identify it with the different shades of color that appear on your dashboard. If the color is closer to white then people aren’t viewing your page at those hours. The darker the shade the more that your page has more traffic coming towards it.

If organic traffic isn’t your thing and you want to get more traffic faster you can run ads. You can set up Google My Business, TikTok Ads, and Facebook Ads on the platform. It will mention to you what is the Conversion rate, and the Cost Per Ad for every 1,000 impressions you get from your ad being placed. It is recommended to talk to a professional to find out how to customize it to help you get the best results for your money spent. Please keep in mind that for most analytics to be shown to you after posting takes about 24 to 48 hours before it appears on your account so don’t be alarmed. You will get access to your reports on your growth once per month from the date you signed up for your account. As mentioned in the video don’t try to reinvent the wheel but use resources that help to benefit your business in the long term. Try Now

The last point I would like to mention is that all 3 of these platforms Google Workspace, Canva, and Metricool integrate and communicate with each other. With the power of integration, features are also included where it can connect to your Google Sheets pdf document and our last suggested tool Metricool. I think it’s essential for brands to have synchronization when it comes to mixing and working with platforms because it allows the user to not only make the process of getting work done more seamless but allows you to not have to have so many accounts to log into. Logging onto a lot of platforms makes you waste more time. As a business owner, I like to keep things simple, especially for a person like me that does most marketing and communication by myself.

Use my links and you will be able to get access to these tools for 1 month free.
